Apologies for the inconvenience caused
In our latest release, we have upgraded the Java version. This happens seamlessly when you apply the upgrade. How this happens is,

1. Start the updatemanager.bat
2. Apply the upgrade
3. All upgrade files including the new jre folder is copied. The name of the new jre folder is"jre_new".
4. The update manager should be stopped after successful apply of the upgrade.
5. Now when the product is started, the old jre is removed and the new jre folder is renamed to "jre".

In Windows, if a file or folder is being used by a different process, activities like delete, rename are not allowed. So we suspect if the update manager process which is using the old jre is alive the rename fails.
Go to the installation folder of "ADAudit Plus". If there's a " jre .lock" file in the installation folder mostly it's the above mentioned problem.
To get around this and start ADAudit Plus successfully, please follow the below mentioned steps,

1. Kindly delete jre.lock file.
2. Rename the jre folder to jre_old .
3. Rename jre_new folder to jre.
4. To ensure the java is upgraded, Open a command prompt in the <ADAudit Plus folder>\jre\bin folder.
5. Execute the command .\java.exe -version
You should get the output as follows
java version "1.8.0_51

1. Stop ADAudit Plus(Start->All Programs->ADAudit Plus->Stop ADAudit Plus).
2. Open the folder "<installation directory>\ManageEngine\ ADAudit Plus".
3. Right click on the "logs" folder and compress/zip it.[ Exclude the Archive folder within \logs\]
4. Go to https://bonitas2.zohocorp.com/
5. Fill the details in the above link:
* Send to : ADAudit Plus
* Your Email address: "your email address".
* Select the file to upload: “Browse the zip file
